Peer Consultant at the Sweetland Center for Writing

​I completed the intensive consultant training course, Writing 300: seminar in peer tutoring, improving my knowledge on writing, teaching, community service, cultural difference, and literacy practices. Additionally, I consult students that need help with a variety of writing including academic essays, short stories, cover letters and more, while maintaining an open and collaborative environment.

Endource Fashion Internship, Editorial and Marketing Assistant

During my four months with Endource, I ran company social media accounts including Instagram and Pinterest through which I helped acquire a larger client base. I also assisted in choosing weekly fashion styles to promote in company newsletters, edited photos, and wrote copy for marketing emails.

Traverse City Film Festival, Events Intern

I worked as the event planner for the TCFF. Some of my responsibilities included organizing the layout of venues, decorating, coordinating food, entertainment and organizing volunteers. By the end of the internship I had planned five major events that occurred the week of the festival.

Our team has competed in Division 1 at the NCWSA National Tournament three years running. As captain I am responsible for facilitating team meetings, assisting with team finances, recruitment, and fundraising efforts. I annually attend the national conference to vote on bylaws for the NCWSA.​
